Patient Feedback
"After some research i booked in with AtH based on positive reviews and the transparency they provide on their website re what to expect during the process including costs for medication and follow up appointments. There are many other providers who offer similar or even cheaper rates for initial assessments but have unpublicised, high follow-up costs so for anyone reading this make sure you do you research ! The pre-assessment process felt thorough and well organised and any queries were answered quickly via email. I did my assessment with Catherine Jones who i found to be very warm and compassionate. I was given every opportunity to express myself and talk things through, was able to ask questions as they arose and was given breaks when needed. I really appreciated not being made to feel rushed at any point. I felt that Catherine listened very carefully and took a genuinely interest in me as a person while still remaining professional and objective. My partner was invited to join for part of the session and Catherine was flexible with the timings of that. Overall it was a very positive experience. The follow up session was agreed and booked in at the end of the session. The outcome of the assessment was clearly communicated during that follow-up session and next steps outlined. I'd highly recommend AtH based on my experiences so far, I would give them 6 stars if i could.
"I just wanted to send a message of utter gratitude. I’ve just picked up my meds and will start tomorrow. After 24 years of being undiagnosed and then a year of trying to start on meds after my diagnosis it truly doesn’t feel real. Thank you for unbelievable support in helping me get them & for how quickly it has all happened. It’s been so efficient and from sending the first email I had an appointment so quickly. I am so excited to see how these make a difference to my life and feel like hopefully this’ll be what was needed for a very long time. Sorry for the long email but just a huge thank you."
"I am so glad I decided to book my ADHD assessment with Attention to Health. I remember being so nervous before my initial consultation, but I immediately felt relieved to be able to explain my experience without being dismissed. During my diagnosis appointment, Dr Will encouraged me to discuss my thoughts, feelings and difficulties with ADHD. Dr Will gave all my symptoms due consideration. I felt supported throughout my treatment journey. The admin team are quick to respond and helped to reschedule my appointments when necessary. Dr Will helped me to find a treatment routine that not only helps my ability to focus but also allows me to reach my full potential. Any concerns that I had about medication were taken seriously. We worked to find a treatment that exceeded my requirements whilst removing adverse side effects. Since being stable on my medication, I have been referred back to my GP to continue treatment. The knowledge, skills and personalised care I received since starting my journey with ATH have helped me to become confident in myself and in my ability. I highly recommend getting in touch with ATH."
"Working with Dr Jo also helped me feel more positive about myself and less hard on myself for things I found difficult or impossible which seemed to come naturally to others. Understanding more about ADHD and how it impacts people has been incredibly helpful. Dr Jo is super lovely and very reassuring — especially given how nervous I was at the start. The team as a whole has been fantastic. They are super responsive and I appreciated the reminders sent before appointments and guidance on what I needed to do beforehand."
"I just wanted to say how much I appreciated such a thorough and robust assessment that was also kind and compassionate, with a report I know would stand up if it ever needed to be reviewed by an NHS team. Even though I later went down the right-to-choose route, I am so glad I paid for the assessment with you. I know I had a really robust and meaningful assessment through Attention to Health. Thank you."
"Excellent service and care. I had a wonderful experience with Jo — clear communication, attentive listening, and helpful guidance. The appointment reminders were also very useful."
"Dr Dietmar Hank was incredible. I had been struggling for years and getting nowhere with various medical professionals, both NHS and private. I was very impressed by how committed Dr Hank was to helping me."
"Just wanted to say a big thank you to the whole team at Attention to Health for helping me through a difficult period and supporting me with my mental health so I could get back on the road to recovery."
"Attention to Health listened and helped me to learn about myself."
"Great sensitivity and good listening. I always felt heard and never felt that unclear communication was a problem. I was always met with respect, patience and understanding. I was never made to feel stupid."
"Dr Hank was brilliant. Appointments were very convenient and prescriptions always arrived promptly before being taken over by my GP."
"The clinical work was excellent. I found Dr Will to be highly conscientious and credible, and I know my wife had the same experience with her assessment."
"I was quite anxious about the assessment but Dr Will put me at ease immediately and was caring and professional throughout."
"Really efficient service. No waiting list and the time from assessment to getting medication was surprisingly short."
"I feel so much better after my session — not just the treatment but how I feel about ADHD. I've learned so much and it's not all bad."
"I was convinced I had ADHD. Thank you Laura for following through with excellent psychological support to help my symptoms."
"I don't usually do reviews but this process has been a life-changer. Thank you Will."
"I was thankful for the initial consultation. Your advice to not have the assessment but instead pursue a different therapy was spot on."
"Dr Hank is very calm and approachable — very caring as well."
