Transfer of Care for ADHD treatment
Continue your ADHD treatment with clinical confidence
Transfer of Care for ADHD treatment
If you have already been diagnosed with ADHD by another provider and are looking to continue treatment, Attention to Health offers a structured Transfer of Care service.
This pathway is designed for people who want safe, compliant continuity of care, clear medication oversight, and long-term clinical support without unnecessary repetition of assessments.
Our approach is careful, evidence-based, and aligned with NICE and AQAS standards.

Who this service is for
This service is suitable if you:
Have a prior ADHD diagnosis from another UK or international provider
Are seeking ongoing treatment, including medication where appropriate
Want a clinically governed service that can support shared care with your GP
Understand that previous reports must meet recognised clinical standards
If your documentation is robust, we focus on treatment continuity rather than reassessment.
How Transfer of Care works
Step 1: Expert Consultation and report review
Before any transfer takes place, we review your existing ADHD assessment and clinical documentation.
This is done through an Expert Consultation, which can be booked directly online and costs £75.
Ahead of this appointment, you will be asked to upload:
Your previous ADHD assessment report
Any recent medication summaries or clinical correspondence
Completed consent and information forms
During the consultation, a senior prescribing clinician will assess whether your diagnosis meets the standards required for safe continuation of care.
Outcomes after the Expert Consultation
Following the review, you will receive a written outcome letter explaining the next steps.
There are three possible outcomes…
01.
Routine Transfer of Care
If your report meets clinical standards, you will be offered a Transfer of Care appointment.
Fee: £300
Duration: 60 to 90 minutes
Includes diagnostic verification, treatment review, and prescribing where appropriate
02.
Complex Transfer of Care
If parts of the assessment need further clarification or expansion, a more detailed appointment may be required.
Fee: £500
Duration: up to 2 hours
Includes partial reassessment, report refinement, and prescribing where appropriate
03.
New assessment required
In some cases, reports do not meet minimum standards. If this happens, we will explain why and advise whether a full new assessment is the safest option. No further steps are taken without your agreement.
