OUR POLICIES
We have enormous pride in our standard of clinical and ethical patient care.
We are registered with healthcare governing bodies and regulated accordingly. Our policies ensure compliance and best practice from all of our doctors.
The Attention to Health business has a pending registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The role of the CQC is to ensure UK health services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care.
In order to register with the CQC we have to meet high standards of patient care. We are then subject to regular monitoring and inspection.
All our psychologists are registered with The Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC). The HCPC purpose is to protect the public by regulating UK health and care professions.
Our psychologists must comply with the HCPC standards for education, training and practice and take part in approved programmes.
All our doctors are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). The role of the GMC is to make sure that every doctor has the right knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience to work across the UK.
In order to be on the official register, the GMC checks the doctor meets rigorous requirements to work in the UK and delivers good, safe patient care.
We take data privacy very seriously, complying with industry governance that ensures our patients are fully protected.
Booking Policy
-
Our initial consultation and assessment appointments are made online. Having chosen a date and time, we then ask for online payment prior to confirmation. This is to make the process most efficient and reduce the number of administrative interactions we have with patients.
-
Medication treatments and follow-up appointments will be arranged in conjunction with a doctor according to the plan agreed following the assessment.
-
Accepted forms of payment include debit/credit card and other payment processing platforms, such as PayPal and Apple Pay. Payments are taken using the Stripe platform, a secure and established payment system.
-
Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled at any time. A full refund is given for cancellations made where at least 48 hours notice is given
Risk Policy
-
We do not assess or treat children. All of our tests, assessments and treatments are designed for adults.
